Accessibility

Effective: —

We want everyone to be able to use orbitrine.com, our client portal and the Showrooms we build. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

What we do

  • Use real text, headings and labels that screen readers can announce.
  • Keep color contrast readable in light and dark modes.
  • Make every control usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Respect your device's "reduce motion" setting: animations stop or simplify.
  • Offer a flat grid view in every Showroom, as an alternative to the 3D views.
  • Describe the meaning of decorative visuals in text where they carry information.

Known limitations

The 3D views of a Showroom are visual by nature. Every piece is also available as text (title, price, status and details) and in the grid view. Photos supplied by clients may not always have a detailed description; we add descriptions where clients give us the information.
